Eric is the Manager of Health and Industrial Hygiene for Rio Tinto Kennecott Copper. In this role he is responsible for the development and execution of the business unit 5 year plan in support of group and corporate strategy. He has responsibilities for occupational medicine and industrial hygiene programs in meeting: internal and external standards, delivering against key performance indicators, oversight of implementation, and development of professional staff members.

Eric has previously worked for following organizations: Northrop Grumman, CH2M Hill, and the U.S. Department of Energy National Nuclear Security Administration. Within these organizations he has held increasingly complex levels of responsibility in the areas of occupational safety and industrial hygiene over the past 17 years.

Eric is a Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) and a Certified Safety Professional (CSP). He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health-Industrial Hygiene Emphasis from Utah State University as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Brigham Young University.
